Title: what is known, what is not, what we are doing
- The initial ten-year term of certificate No. 216506 expired on 30 June 2025.
- The state register shows no termination entry and the record is active. However, the register enters terminations with a lag, so an active record is not proof of renewal.
- So we say it plainly: validity is not established. A written confirmation has been requested; the moment it arrives, this paragraph will be replaced with the document's date and number.
- What this means for a deal: domain renewal does not depend on the mark — the address is not going anywhere. The mark is required to change the registrant, i.e. for the transfer itself. Hence the three closing routes below, two of which do not depend on our certificate.
- The application file contains two outgoing office documents: a renewal reminder (NO-5, 5 Mar 2025) and a post-expiry notice (NO-51, 29 Aug 2025). We name them ourselves, because a buyer will see them anyway.
